For those of you who know about amps.
I am at that stage where I need amps to push my speakers. I have Infiniti Referance 6X9 in the back and 5-1/2 and tweeters in the front. These speakers are rated at 100 watts max. I also have a 8" sub in a plexi window box. The sub is a kicker, also rated at 100 watts max.
These are my plans. I want the 6X9 to run in full range and the front speakers I want them to be in the voice and high range. The sub, well pushing bass obviously.
I was set on Rockford Fosgates but after reading and searching around for them. They are one: expensive, two: for what I have heard they do not put out good sound quality, (wich is what i want sound quality) three: expensive "didnt I say that?"
So here is where you come into play. What would you buy today and why? what for as well? example: high's and low's wich amp for wich speakers.
Any reccomendations will be welcome, and I will definatly search further into any recommendation. I am very open minded at this point.
Edit: Plz do not even bother or think about recommending Pyramids or Legacy.
I have my mb quarts 5 1/4 seperates in kick panels in the front, and mb quart 6X9's in the back run by my phosgate 800a4 amp. Sound quality is AWSOME!!!!! Don't be afraid to buy a powerfull amp..... most speakers and amps blow because of underpower, not overpower.... you can set the fronts for high pass, and leave the rear 6x9's with full frequency range. Works great.... Alpine amps are also of good quality....
why dont you pick up the soundstream that is available in the forsale section here?

My brother has a rockford 800a4 and it sounds great. I have an orion 800.4 which i think is a little better than the rockford, but it's a little more exspensive too though, but i recommend that 100%.
If you want to do that you're going to need a nice amp anyways with built in crossovers or by crossovers seperatly. so it's going to get exspensive....those are the only 4 channels taht i've tried and actually liked, so i'm sure there's loads of others out there that are good and a lot cheaper.Originally posted by osirisdon

the soundstream would work great.
you can safely give those speakers about twice their rated power and get away with it. just dont do it day in and day out.
alpine would be a good choice too. whats your budget like?
I would definatley buy that amp, but I want more juice for these babies. I want to pump at least 75 watts into every channel. My bugdet is more or less 500 dollars. I also prefer to purchase brand new, out of the box. That will give me some type of warranty.
