Cool new motherboard. LVDS built-in!

COMMELL LV-670M

This thing's almost perfect:

LVDS interface.
Mobile Pentium 4 (not a big hot desktop CPU).
Intel chipset.
USB 2 and Firewire.
SPDIF digital audio out, 5.1 suport.
DiskOnModule / Flash Disk support.

If only it had digital audio in, and RCA analog audio connectors instead of mini connectors. (I don't get why manufacturers are making these so-called "hi-fi" motherboards that use mini audio connectors instead of RCAs.)

Main drawback is that this isn't meant to be a retail board, so it probably won't be cheap.

LVDS means Low Voltage Differential Scsi, but they are using it in the context of video here, so there must be a new meaning.

Yea, acronym overload. When I read LVDS I kept looking for the scsi card specs. now we have to specify if its scsi or video

LVDS=LCD controller onboard in this context. Meaning this board can directly interface with a bare LCD (all you need is an inverter for the backlight).
