Disable USB boot capability in the BIOS.
Hello, I'm reading this forum very often but I writing a litle bit.
So here is the problem from the car pc of my friend. He have the Intel D510MO motherboard and he use Joicon for input and an external sound card Audigi 2NX. The problem is that when he's power on the car pc and he have attached Joicon and Audigi to usb ports, it needs one and a half minute to see the windows desktop. Is there any way to make it boot faster?
Thanks in advance.
I think he has already done this. Should he put the first boot device to hdd?
Well as he told me he have disable everything it have to do with usb to bios.
The wird thing is, that is taking to long time to see the boot logo on the screen -and the pc is powered on. After that the boot prosidure is passing nolmaly.
unplug, or try a different sound card-- for some reason creative brand usb sound cards will not play nice with intel motherboards, and will extend the boot time. even if you disable all the usb options in the bios..
i had the same issue with a intel 945glc, and a creative x-fi card...

Well thanks for the tip soundman98. The goal is to make it work with the hardware that is already excist. If we can't make it work in the end, we will go for new hardware.
