What an interesting second post 3 years after your first.
We had a galaxy tab floating around at work that I took a look at. It's definitely true what they say, "android isn't built for tablets" and it really shows. There's a bunch of stuff that's fixed width for a phone's resolution and a bunch more stuff that says things like "my phone". Android still also has performance issues and some apps really showed it.Quote:

If it weren't for android, i'd probably get it for my wife. Maybe gingerbread will solve all the tablet issues...
I also saw Windows Phone 7 and was shocked at how good it was. It was pretty and responsive.
Neither of them have any merit in the car as they are though.
