Not to mention, having the OS on flash means that when you b0rk your system, you can just swap out the SD card with a fresh image rather than ripping out your entire install and re-flashing it. That may be easier.
I actually wanted to get 2 igeps so I could have one for the lab and one for production. I could hack on the lab one until it's "ready" then I could just swap sd's with the sd card slot in the car and keep running.
