Screen issue with Windows 7 - Lilliput 669GL
I've gone through a tedious process with getting Windows 7 Pro to work on my mini-itx PC system (using the Zotac NM-10-ITX with wifi) with the Lilliput 669GL-70NP/C/T-HB-RV 7" HDMI, DVI, VGA High Brightness, 4 Wire Resistive Touch Screen Monitor.
My first issue started when I plugged the VGA cable in. Screen flickers (apparently a known issue on the VGA cables); which I checked all connections, nothing fixed it, so I attached an HDMI cable. With this, the cable works, however it is not sized correctly (half the taskbar on the bottom is not fitting as well as both sides and top of the screen, as if Windows is partially zoomed in. Now if this was with an Nvidia card, I'm aware that the drivers make it easy to fix this, however I'm using an Intel based chipset, so I'm out of luck with any Nvidia fixes.
I also tried DTD Calculator while searching about this issue ( http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/lcd-...-graphics.html ), which when I input the values on Calculations, and go into the Registry hack of the program to place the new res into the registry (after reboot process) I DO NOT see any new resolutions that I made, just the standards (when you click LIST ALL resolutions in the advanced tab of the display properties). Is there something I'm doing wrong because it should be visible? I'm literally at a loss, because I thought that program was the answer from all the positive posts, which leaves me now with a VGA connection that doesn't work, and an HDMI connection that doesn't fit right in the screen.
