I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but the levels that come out of your line-out are generally at acceptable pre-amp output levels, albeit, sometimes they are a little low, depending on board
I have been following the forums for about 2 months now and figured that it is about time that I register to ask a few questions. Forgive me if they seem ignorant, I may be going to an engineering school, but I stay clear of the EE's for the most part.
1) Would there be a way to wire up the equivalence to a pre-amp out? My guess is all that is needed is a way to step down or dissipate the power (since an amp steps up the power applied to the channel, in theory).
2) I read earlier that some people have purchased distribution boxes. Could I get away using a multi-channel signal processor, or is this just another term for distribution boxes.
My carputer setup is non-existant at the moment. Gotta ask questions if you want to do it right the first time.

Also, I have no experience with VB as of now, but I have finished with my basic C++ courses. If there is an add-on that is needed, I'd be willing to help as best I can.
