I am getting private emails from people who want the schematic, and am asking them to contact Mitch.
My schematic drawing is just an ohmeter schematic without any component values, and was only drawn up to help me visualize getting the correct signals from the HD Radio board (not using the mini-8 din, but pc board holes) to the Motherboard COM1 header. It was not drawn up in intent to distribute, because I doubt anyone else will ever bother to de-solder a mini-8 din, the RCA line out, and power connections on the HD Radio board to try and fit it all in one case.
The only reason I bothered to share it was because I was reading of the poor guy who has been posting in this topic's plight, (from September no less!) in hopes something different in the schematic I reverse engineered, and com setting I used, could get this suffering individual up an running. I did not bother to take off the mini-8 din part of my drawing, because again, the intent was not to distribute a cable schematic, but reference to help someone troubleshoot.
I was shocked at the least to discover that someone lay claim to designing that circuit in this very thread, so I asked it took down, but I also have to question why, if there are so many senior MP3CAR members reading this stuff, nobody bellied up to the table to help solve this poor guy's longsuffering plight?
When I started visiting this forum last spring, I did all the typical newbie reading, FOR MONTHS, before I dare post anything or start a project of my own, and this post is the one that jumped out at me the most, of which even if the reward part is now dead, it's intent I have tried to live up to on this forum:
