Advice on Hardware Selection

Hello all, it's been a while since my last carputer (~2003). I even forgot my user name and password. I recently picked up a project car and would like to get back into the whole carputer scene. My main uses for now will be music videos, and GPS. If you feel there are better selections, feel free to post your suggestions or solutions.

the m2 should be plenty for that board, and your current devices.

also, be sure to check cf's required parts page-- i believe any BT module will work, but i'm a rr user

otherwise, looks like a good plan.

Thanks for the advice in regards to the power supply.

Which board/CPU is generally preferred here in the carputer world? The atom d525 or the e-350?

that seems to be better decided by how you feel towards 'intel vs. amd'.. overall, i don't think there is much of a difference between the two. both are low powered chipsets, both come in passively-cooled options, so noisy fans aren't there, and both have about the same amount of processing power..

the atom has been around longer, so i think it has developed a little more of a following, and as such is a little more popular, but i really don't see a significant advantage either way..
