Two switches into the 2 pin mobo on/off?

    Hi guys,

Tweaking one of the carputers over the winter. It has an opus 250 power supply. The power supply has a two wire lead to connect to the mobo to turn the PC on and off. I would like to tap into that wire and run a second momentary switch. Tried using a relay, was not very good and want to use a different method.

Is this possible? or any suggestions other than a relay would be appreciated.

completely possible-- my setup has a remote mounted power and reset button..

just use a N.O. or Normally Open momentary push button. just connect it to those 2 wires(i soldered a spare 2 conductor cable onto the dc-dc's power button wires), and it should work just like you need it to.
