    Power

    Hello People
    I'm from Switzerland, and i realy would like to add also a MP3 PC to my car. But i have a problem. I don't understand you, how you get so much power for you pc? The Battery is 12
    voltage. But my pc need 220 Voltage, or in USA 110 Voltage. How do you solve this problem?

    You either need an inverter or a DC-DC converter. Im not sure if European computer power supplies use the same voltage. For a DC to DC converter, go to mp3ondemand.com

    US computers are just like Europen.
    Option 1.
    DC-AC converter + your normal powersuply

    Option 2.
    DC-DC power (+12, +5, -12, -5) for AT

    I don't think he'll understand all that, he has to figure out the difference between AC and DC first.
    I recommend going to an electronics store and buying a book. Or look up electronics on the net and maybe you'll find something useful.
    And he does need 220, european power is different. Unless he buys a US inverter and Power Supply.

    Umm...maybe it's just me, but can't he just flip that 220 to 110 switch on the back of his power supply and get a US AC/DC inverter? Or go to scott.kincaid.net and get a DC/DC power supply...

    Just go to Conrad Electronic and buy a "Spannungswandler". The Number is 513113. It costs about 150,- DM. It's working very well.
