Thread: SPDIF or TOSlink on an all in one 12v ready computer?

As you can remember, I had lots of issues with very loud pops and crackles when the computer turned on, when Windows loaded, when Windows went to sleep, when the computer turned off, etc.
Since I installed the Mosconi 6to8 they are all gone. I still have a very feint popping noise when the Amps turn on, but I would call it a normal initialization pop. I only notice it when I wait for it specifically.
I still have a bit of ground noise, but its much less than with the Bitone or H701. Still working on that anyway. I have a few things I can try to get rid of it completely.

I have zero noise issues wxcept when windows kicks on I get a pop with optical.

I have a 0-60 second navone engineering delay timer that im going to try to put in line with the amp turn on to get the amps on after windows starts. The only problem is the boot time is different depending on if it's a cold boot, resume, cold boot with cd in, resume with cd in... So i need to figure out how to send a turn on signal from windows to snap a relay on... That would be perfect.
