I'm trying to locate a 8.9" capacitive panel that supports 15:9 aspect ratio of my screen.
I have contacted a few manufacturers and the prices seem way to high one quoted me $20,000 for a manufacturing fee and $48/ per panel with a 10,000 panel minimum order and another quoted me $10,000 for a single panel. If anyone has any info or knows if a 16:9 capacitive layer can be calibrated to downsize its active area so it would work let me know
I don't know about the capacitive TS's but the resistive ones come with calibration software that helps you define points and/or boundaries against the screen.
So it is possible to set the area smaller than the TS.
Thanks Enforcer I'm not sure what i was thinking i forgot that w7 has calibration options. Now I just need to find another one of the 8.9" 16:9 panels, seller sold out of them Doh. lolQuote:
