    CIMR-100 stopped working??

I have just had my creative remote (cimr-100) for a few weeks now, it had been working just fine, and now all of a sudden I won't work. I can't figure out why. I even switched computers and it still wont work. Then I replaced the battery, no luck. Any ideas?? ANd, can you think if any way to isolate the problem, I.E. is it the receiver or the remote??

    thx

is it IR or radio frequency?

if its IR and you have a video camera. just push a button and shoot it at the videocamera, the IR waves will show up as white on the tape / tv.

otherwise check software, and battery voltage with a voltmeter

OK, just checked it with a cam. and it flashed a white light when i press a button. So I assume the remote is OK?? now is there any way to check the integrity of the receiver??

And about software, I didn't have any special software to begin with, and I couldn't really find any real drivers online for it. So I don't think it's that..

Figured it out!! Turns out the solder points of IR head on the receiver came loose. Well, guess i need to dust off the ol' soldering iron
