    Mp3 Hardware Available

Hi, I was just wonderin if anyone heard of any news of Pioneer, Alpine etc building a MP3 player for the car? I know of several Home brew type kits but I was wondering if the "Mainstream" audio companies were trying to come up with their own players.

I assure you, if this had happened, you'd have heard about it. However, many moons ago I read something about Aiwa and a couple of other companies teaming up to make a home MP3 player using an ORB drive, but I don't know what happened to that.

The Clarion AutoPC will probably do mp3's in the future. A little pricey though.
    Later.
