    radar detector with pc interface

was just doing some thinking and wondered if a radar detector with a pc interface existed

it would connect to the computer and then give options on screen, warnings, etc etc

doubt anything exists as of now

Valentine makes a radar detector with concealable display. If you can figure out the interface, you may be able to adapt it to the computer.

    Police Scanner

There is a company named winradio that provides a police scanner type harware and software for the pc. You can scan practically any frequency though the radio interface. Not sure if the code for the API is open to use in other applications but I am sure there is a way.
