Thread: Powered or Non Powered?

I'm not too experienced at this, but I would say to use the powered line out. I'm assuming that the line out would go to some type of amp, whether it be a separate one, or a head unit. If so, then you wouldn't need the non-powered line out because your speakers would be powered (by the amp).

I'm not entirely sure about this, though. Just my "opinion"...

My reply was kind of vague, so let me clarify:

When I said powered line out, I meant the line out for powered speakers. And, of course, when I said non-powered line out, I meant that for non-powered speakers.

For a proper response to your question we need more information to work with. What is the signal going in to? An amp? A head unit? Direct to speakers?

Current TEMPORARY setup... I-Jam -> Cassette Adapter -> Head Unit. PATHETIC!!!

non powered speaker's are going to want a smaller wattage so if your using factory speaker's and coming straight from you computer to the speaker use that line if you using an amplifier to run to the speaker's then use the other line and run it to the amplifier then from the amp to the speaker's
