Thread: Anyone hear of nextgen: data acquisition device

I ran across this setup and was wondering if anyone has heard of it and/or think it could be integrated in a carpc. It seems to have been developed by VTTI under the name Nextgen. It is now being distributed by transecurity as DriveVision R. http://www.transecurity.com/products/drive-vision-r.php that is the site address. It has front and rear facing cameras supports up to 6, front facing radar tracks up to 12 or 14 vehicles up to 400 meters away. has time to collision and headway warnings, obd connection that pulls data from pcm, gps, facial recognition, lane tracking, gsm cell modem, wifi and wired network access, 3-axix accelerometer, yaw rate, forward illumination sensor. As soon as I get it laid out I will add some pics of what all is here. There is a cpu unit the radar unit the front side and driver camera, the rear camera, obd connector, the radar processor unit and not sure what else yet.
