    My LPT Relay Control Software

and apparently, the exe files ARE infected with something, or mcaffe thinks that since the code accesses the hardware its a virus.

oh yeah, ask him what kind of interface the hardware is (parallel, serial, USB) and if you can get a picture.

and ask him if it works with XP

i have this sinking feeling that he "borrowed" my code

It would be awesome if it was integrated with media engine as mastero mention. I know they have a lot on their hands already. Either way the software looks great and I might consider this for my project.

it can i think the timmer does the trick in VB6 ... also i have just finished some thing nice in that

I want to use this relay to control the Aircon of my car ...

so the problem was when the aircon is on speed 1 then 2 3 4 should be deactive and when i go to 4 then the 1 should get deactive ... so on ..

Well i got it done went through ome old VB book and YES it works...

Now my new problem i want to add this to ME through external application thing .... but when i run ME then EA it starts the software but i can only gain access to ME if i exit the Relay software that means Aircon of ....

Is there any way around it ...

    There's a good I/O board at:

    http://www.phaedrusltd.co.uk/

Look for VIOM. The logic states and timers mean you should be able to program it as a startup/shutdown controller as well. I've not programmed mine yet though, need the time to sit down and work it out.

Might be more than you want to spend though.
