Ok hopefully you will get them soon. I have my newly powder coated rims waiting for new rubber. My truck is in the trans shop getting some work done so I won't have it for a week but I really need to put some tires on this sucker.

    2 questions.

Whatever happened to these sensors and have you tried running this stuff on a Win 8 machine? I have windows 7 pro on this CarPC now but thinking about installing Win 8.1 on it. I have capacitive screens that are seen as touch screens but still debating on if I want to run Win 7 or 8 since it looks like I may have issues with some drivers with win 8.

I replaced the bluetooth/wireless adapter in my laptop and the carpc with the same top of the line intel pieces and my blue tooth doesn't seem to work in my laptop with windows 8 so I am unsure. They only had win 7 drivers and I am using those on my laptop. The Wifi works great just the bluetooth doesn't seem to work and I have seen people mention windows 8 didn't work with blue tooth out of the box so I do not know yet what the issue is.

Anyhow, I haven't been able to buy my new tires yet but I would like to get some fresh sensors for them. I am waiting for my console to be done and get a bracket back from the powder coaters before I install my PC into my truck.

Hi Rod I am still waiting on shipment of the new sensors from Malaysia. Should be soon though as they were ordered a couple of weeks ago. As for win 8, I have no use for it (too phone/tablet ish for me) Win7 you should have no problem with, in fact i just setup my daily driver with win7 (use 32bit for stability in apps and drivers) 4gig of ram is fine for anything being done in the vehicle. Everything works using the all in one box. Getting 30hz reporting from obd2 chip in Driveline. As for your bluetooth problem Intel is always behind microsoft with drivers so you most likely only have win7 drivers available I will let you know as soon as the sensors arrive SNO

Thanks.. What cost are those sensors?

Probably going to stick with Win 7 since it works with OM and Driveline well. Using 64bit but shouldn't make a difference.

(Have 16gig in this computer although probably will never use it. Can use it as a ram disk.. )

The sensors are going to be around 20-25 dollars final cost once they arrive and I pay the taxes and duty if any. They come with new valve stems as well (I tried to just get sensors alone) Will let you know as soon as the kits and sensors arrive SNO

Did you ever get the sensors? Been a while.. I got new tires and want to try them out with the sensors.

I am about to mount the PC in my truck. Just waiting for my monitor to get back from the member that sold it to me originally. The body shop building the mount for it messed it up a little bit but nothing too bad.

I will be getting it to run on my desktop with another machine but wanted to at least get the sensors installed in my truck since I have the old ones still that you gave me with the box.

    Thanks!

I am still waiting on my delivery from Malaysia maybe you could see if mp3car store has them in stock and how long they have been there might be just a bit more but you would have them then. SNO

    This sensor?

    http://store.mp3car.com/USB_Tire_Pre..._p/com-110.htm

I think I miss understood your earlier message. When you said $20-$25 was that per sensor? It is almost double that in the mp3store.

    Thanks

yes those are the ones, I am getting direct from manufacturer that's is where the difference in pricing, plus they need to make money as well. when I said 20-25 that is still a guesstimate till I get the final tally with duty/taxes/shipping ect. they might end up just slightly under the mp3car stores prices. The only thing getting from the store is battery level in those sensors as I bought 5 from the store and they were all around 68%+/-. Hope that clears it up. SNO
