yes its definatly RGsB, the reason I need to convert to Phono is so i can use a Lilliput touch screen for it
RGsB can easily be converted to RGBs, then rescaled to 800x600 then converted to NTSC.
Ok. Please tell us how easy we can do that.
Pal or NTSC is equal. I think my BMW system has an NTSC video output.
Ok, I think this will help, some reading required!
This one worked for me.
What I did was use one of these:
This gave me a "raster" (using composite video) so I could at least "see" the data (no blanking) and determine that it could be converted.
There are chips that will "strip" sync off the green, then all you need is a re-scaler to convert the RGBS (comp sync) to a more useable friendly format (800x600).
If you can take a picture of the display electronics or list the chips for the signal processing, you can reverse engineer what format the video is (usually).
Also, just tapping these signals and trying to drive a chip or aux circuit may not work as they may have 75 ohm termination on the board that may have to be removed as the interface may have 75 ohm termination also, resulting in overloading.
This sounds more complicated then it really is, you just have to be methodical in determining what the video is.
The re-scaler board I bought works great, but I had to remove all the connectors from the board (to make it fit).
success  BMW to VGA
and here inside car with OpenBM Monitor:
Pretty neat conversion board huh?
And it runs off 12 volts!
very nice board. but the difficult and confuse thing was, to find the correct cable to connect.
yes, it works on +12V.
Now, i try to get a composite signal, from vga.
Get one of these:
if there is no other way, i will use this board:
