    RGsB to Video RCA

    Hi all

I need to find a adaptor that can convert RGsB to Video RCA and in 12V as I need it in my car anyone got any ideas?

the problem is I have a standard car signal thats in RGsB that goes to a current standard screen but I want to replace the screen but it only has the standard video input anyone got any ideas?

I tried this route and ended up re-scaleing the OEM RGBs to RGB H V.

You can then take that and convert to composite with an adapter if that is what you want.

I did it in 12 volt.

The first thing is to determine that you do in fact have RGBs.

If you can take a picture or list the chips on the display board I can determine pretty quick.

What I did was I bought a re-scaler board (runs off 12 volts).

You can find them on Ebay for under $30.00

This converts a whole range of formats to 800x600.

You can then get a down convertor to make the RGB H V to composite video if you want.

What you need to measure is the resistance of the RGB lines to ground.

If it is 75 ohms, you may have to remove these (3) resistors to get enough drive for the rescaler inputs.

Do you realy mean RGBs or RGsB?

My BMW MK4 Navigationcomputer has a RGsB 16:9 Videosignal. But it's a non Standardformat.

I want to do this too! I have a Scan Do I was planning on using but this would allow for a better screen while keeping the factory interface.

You didn't happen to do this on an Acura TL? I have a TL and there was a guy on the forum that was working on a similar setup.
