Yeah, I'm on the fence about buying one for a spare part. It's the best price I have seen in over a year of looking at mSATA drives. I just bought one for $169 a month ago, and thought that was a deal, but the Crucial brand drives were holding at $200 for over a year.
I have worked in more than 70 customers chip fabs over the years, and Micron fabs are by far the most advanced. Even Intel cannot hold a torch to the way Micron operates their fabs as far as cleanlieness, die shrinks, and constant improvement programs to produce the best chips available.
