anyone familiar with clarion pro heads and reverse wiring the preamp outs?

hehe..kinda specific. i have the dx7375 and wanna run the line out on my box to one of the preamp outs on my head, since i noticed that when you install the optional cd changer you actually use one of the preamp outs as the signal in from the cd changer. i guess my question is how to dupe my head unit into thinking that im running a cd changer..or something to that effect. any ideas? id rather not invest in a separate EQ just yet to control my entire system..

Are you SURE that the pre-amp jacks are used to INPUT signal to the head?? On many changer-boxes, the pre-amp signal is actually routed THROUGH the changerbox, and back to the head. In this configuration, the changer-box breaks the connection, and inserts the audio stream itself (ie. the changer does the d/a conversion and sends analog signals to the head unit)...
