Post Aztec DC-DC shipped to Australia :(

I was about to order a couple of those aztec dc-dc psu's from www.mpja.com when i read that international orders have to be a minimum of US$100. This has totally ruined my mp3car plans. Anyone in Australia have any suggestions about getting a PSU like this for cheap. I want DC-DC but i dont have much money to spend, the aztec looked perfect and now im shattered.

You know, if we could get a group of people from here together we could do a group-buy! That is, one person would collect money from "the masses" and place the order, then ship in the US. Now, doesn't that sound cool?

If no-one else wants to volunteer, I can easily start putting together a group-buy (say, about 10 of them)... any takers?

Okay, well that's three I guess... come on, any other takers?

Note that I won't be getting one for myself... I need ATX for my motherboard so I think I'm gonna have to get creative

Looking back over my messages I realize I completely forgot to mention that I'm actually in the US... but that I'm arranging this group-buy for you Ozzies out there... basically I'll get them shipped to my place then ship them back out to you guys... so I'm actually not limited by the $100 minimum order limit... but of course the more I can order at once the better because I'm going to try to strike a deal with them to get some money off to cover the initial shipping costs.

We're up to 3 people wanting the PSU's... 4 if CrayolaHead does want two of them (more maybe?). Please also let me know how many of them you want when you post.

BTW, the reason I'm doing this is I know what it's like living in other countries when a lot of the useful and/or cool stuff is only available (relistically) in the US... I'm English Only been living in the US for 5 years and do still arrange US group-buys for some of my friends back home too.

Perhaps we should repost this thread under a more suitable topic. Something about requests for a mpja.com astect PSU group buy i guess. That way it might get a look in by more interested parties. That is if Thumper is still willing to help us unfortunate non-US citizens out.

So Thumper...if you're still willing..then feel free to repost and get this ball rolling. I for one am in a real hurry to get my mp3car goin.

    regards
