    Post good idea for remote mounting of CD/DVD/HD

    I work at ****ty compusgay (I know it sucks, its an overpriced, stupid computer retail store in the US if anyone doesnt know, dont shop their either). They carry a Firewire box that lets you plug in drives . Its like a kit. You can put one in a dash , run a firewire cable like 10 feet, and your good to go .

    I use firewire HDs. No mounting either. I just literally throw them in the trunk and I'm set to go.

    No problems whatsoever. Been like that for over a year now.
