    psu 12v to power small tv

    ok i have this 5"car tv that uses 12-14v 2.0 amps can i hook it to one of my psu"s power cables ?

    will it affect my computer in any whay ?
    Apple Ipod 20gig 4th gen black and white. Saves you lots of time. and a pocketpc with wifi for the ocasional email cheking and mapping at a hotspot.

    I dont see why not. But if it pulls that much amperage and the voltage can range from 12 to 14vDC connect it directly to your cars wiring, IT may work or it wont even turn on. If you do connect it to your cars wiring make sure you put a 2amp inline fuse. That way you'll be protected.

    yea, i'm really in hati.After alot of thinking i gave up on my car mp3 project because my mother board was so unstable and i got an mp3 dicsman from a friend. But i do want to make one for my home stereo. for the tv i wanted to conect it to desktops psu so i could use the tv in my room. It's only 12volts so it wont be burning o much power with my pc on and all ...
