Multi-In, Multi-Out Switch Needed

My FM Modulator sucks! It does a decent job as FM Modulation goes, but that still isn't good enough. I really like my HU so buying a new one (with AUX IN) does not sound like a plan to me.

Since I'm not using my stereo internal amp, but rather using 2 amps (one for front, one for back) I thought maybe there is a switch out there that would allow me to simply choose my source.

I saw this guy doing the same thing I want to do (although with 1 amp) and wondered where I could get a switch similar to him.

I need it to take 8 inputs and have 4 outputs.

Anyone know of anything like this? Thanks in adavnce!

4-pole changover or 4-pole double throw is what you are after:

So they make an 8 pole version? I ask because I started thinking .. I need double the inputs and outputs.... with every RCA cable there is the signal and a GROUND.. argh!

Since there's 2 RCAs to each amp (4 wires), and I have 2 amps (so 8 wires) and I need to switch between Signal A and Signal B (16 wires) .... I need to then output all 4 RCAs (2 to each amp .. 8 wires).. So I need an 8-pole changeover.

Lets see what I can find...

Just tie all the grounds together. I don't think you need to switch the grounds, only the signals, so 4 pole would be good enough. I only switch signals in my headunit mod to add an aux-in:

Putting all the grounds together still leaves me with 5 signals .. the 4 audio signals and the ground. Maybe I should find a 5-pole throw?

You tie the grounds together, and be fine with a four-pole. Me I'd get tvo four-pole instead

I see what you're saying .. I think .. I can tie all the grounds together and there'll be no need to send them into the switch....

Hmm .. Maplin is a UK company -- I can't seem to "checkout" and have the switch mailed to the US .. where else can I find this gizmo? Radioshack sucked and didn't have any...
