alright will this pcmcia card be my best bet? usb card
well, something similar to this, my laptop doesn't have any usb ports that are 2.0, so i'll need the software, and i need 4 ports for sound card, dvd drive (needs 2), zip drive.
also, will this be able to power that dvd drive with the 2 usb ports? dvd drive

it comes with an a/c power adapter, and a power adapter to connect it to either a ps/2 or sub port or both if necessary. i tried it with my other laptop and it works with just the drive connected to the laptop w/o the addtional power. if worst comes to worst i can connect it to the inverter in the car with the a/c adapter, but i still need this pcmcia card for usb 2.0.
