Laptop battery died
Last weekend I got myself a used Compaq Evo n115, and tonight the battery went dead. I copied a game to a friend with the ac-cord plugged in, and when I got home and was about to start it on the battery, it was dead.
I plugged the cord back in and it started... The battery says 74% and charging but nothing happens, when i removed the battery and checked it with the four diodes that is built into it, it said 75-100%
I'd like to know if anyone of you had the same problem and what was wrong. I'm gonna borrow a friends battery tomorrow to exclude either the laptop or the battery.

Maximum Bitrate
Rechargable betteries have a life span. Most would say about a year of good use. I have stretched one to about 2.5 years with good cycles (run it all the way down, charge it all the way up) but this totally depends on the usage.
you probably need a new battery.

So it's definetively the battery? Then I'll claim some money back, even if I have to use a bat
