Anyone?
Right i am at the end now, almost given up trying to resize my tvout from my laptop without any success.
Its a PIII1000Ghz laptop with a SIS630 onboard vga card, it has a s-video output, which i use a transformer to conver from s-video to composite and then into one of Armen's screens. I have tried powerstrip, tvtool and have had no luck. It currently runs PAL 800x600 an it cuts off about 1" to 1.5" around the screen. I have SIS utility and it has the option to change tv settings however it is greyed out on my laptop which i assume means that it is not supported by this card.
I have no idea where to go with this problem now except to change the laptop and put something else in, but this is the most expensive route that i can think of.
Any help greatly appreciated.
PS: Has anyone gone with AMANDA software looks very cool just not sure about shelling out $40 for something that may not be suitable.

I can't think of anything. You're running a regular resolution, its so weird that it does that. Are you sure its not your s-vido --->composite converter that is causing this problem?
My first two ideas were TvTool and Powerstripper as well, so Im not much more help than that. I wouldn't replace the laptop though. Keep trying. Good luck.
Just get a regular s-video to composite adapter. You don't need anything electrical converting the signal.Originally Posted by ShaneMcFarland
