Try posting this in the install forum at www.sounddomain.com, i just checked and the page isn't up, but i don't know if it will be back or not... if it is working later... then theres a good bet that someone will know how.

Write clarion a letter that you have lost the instructions manual...

I was looking at this (second-hand in my case) head-unit a while back ago at a local car-audio-dealer which also sells used equipment... (kinda handy.. you can trade your old stuff in, and get a decent price, when you buy new)
But the store didn't have a instruction manual with it..

So I wrote clarion in the netherlands, telling them that I had lost the manual.. and within 2 days the manual came..

When I read the manual I realized that I couldn't use this unit because it has no inputs.. but maybe when you use the special sound-processor you may be able to get an input..

It's an passive headunit which means you HAVE to add some amps otherwise you don't get any sound...
It has got an optical output though....

    hope this helps you out..
