Thread: so my car puter died today...

    so my car puter died today...

    brought it inside to install winxp. copied the files over, ran the install everything went ok. rebooted and it came up with invalid boot disk insert another disk blah blah. so i rebooted a few times and then it didn't post...at all! no video out! ekkk

    so any suggestions as to a small form factor board taking standard ram and chips with everything on board? celeron prefered with sdram

    almost forgot...i would like onboard lan and video with 2 serial ports if possible, but i can prolly just get a usb adapater

    dont feel bad. My Asus p5a-b did the same thing last week. I had its new plexi case made, all put together (30 hrs of work), and it did the same thing. I tested it all and it was the mobo. Such bad luck. The mobo was a few years old.
