Keep in mind tha AMD cpus are more power hungry than intel
Right. This is my first post on this forum, so be please, no n00b bashing. And im ****ed of at the momment because im having to rewrite this whole post because my computer froze. Anyway, straight to the point. I stumbed accross this motherboard while getting my new Athlon 2600+ in one of my local computer stores. It aint as small as the VIA boards, but sure is it value for money. Literally, when i saw this i couldnt believe the price. Amazingly, these boards sell for just $39 Australian (err...perobly around US$15
). The board in question is the Jetway 920BF . The board has almost everything needed for a decent mp3 box, and with a bit more investment in a pci tv out card (only vga on the board) it could be a HTPC as well. The board is 220x250mm so is still reasonable small. Blah blah blah, all the specs are at the companys website. . Im off to buy one tomorrow. The thing that really got me is its ability to support two different CPU mountings. You can mount a Celery CPU on the on board socket, or use the PII/PIII Slot-1 system. Anyway, tell me what you people think.
