    Buslink slim usb 2.0 dvd rom

    Does anyone else experience inconsistancies w/ this product? Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Powered or not, doesn't seem to matter...Is there a better usb 2.0 slim dvd?

    I'm not sure about that product, but I recently purchased a Storix External USB2.0 DVD/CD-RW drive for my Auto PC and I find that it loses the connection (or stops working) on a regular basis. I typically just have to unplug then replug the USB cable to the device and it starts working again, which is a pain.

    ya that's how i feel w/ mine. I used to have a usb 2.0 storage case that held a regurlar IDE dvd drive and always worked, i wonder what the difference is...
