    Question onboard sound problems

I have a Crystal Sound onboard soundcard.
It works just fine in windows, and I've had it working just fine in Mpxplay about 3 months ago.
Now, I can't get it to work for some reason. Its really getting on my nerves.
Has anyone had this problem before?
    Thanks
    Should I try re-installing everything?
But then it takes about 2 hours to copy all my mp3s back over.

you'd probably be better off making a dos bootdisk with the sound drivers on.... this way you can play around with the autoexec.bat and config.sys without mucking up your system

    Cool

If I remember correctly, the Crystal chipset has a DOS driver that initializes it as a SB compatible chip. You should try to reinstll the DOS driver with the Crystal setup program. Be sure to select SB emulation when you do. It is possible that P&P changed the inturrupt or I/O and now the existing driver is confused.
