what brand and model is your tuner in your dash?
i'm a little lost, i know that i have to apply and pay for xm radio to have it activated, but what do i have to do to get it. i just saw on my cd player that it says it is xm ready. but it has a tuner, aux, cd, does that mean that i have to buy a little xm controller and antenna for my cdplayer and run in aux or will a new xm menu appear. keep in mind that this cd player is only around $250 so, it's not MUCH smarter then i am.
thanks

Well if its XM ready that means its capable of supporting XM features but you still have to buy additional hardware. Therefore you "have to buy a little xm controller and antenna for my cdplayer and run in aux". Basically depending on your brand headunit you have to get that same brand tuner box.
Heres a link to the tuners

Seems to me that if he can't find his HU, then there is no problem anymore![]()
