Thinking of selling my old carputer for an ipod

Actually i would have to rebuild it again, it's a Falcon CR-53. I'll have to add memory - 256ddr is fine. And it has a 10gig HD for the OS and a 80gig external usb2.0 for mp3s and such. And a 16x dvd-rom. It will include OEM - Windows 2000, Power DVD, Sonic Foundry Acid 3.0

I think i'm gonna sell this on ebay and replace it with an 40 gig ipod. I already have an indash dvd player with s-video (i think it plays mp3 cds, dunno). So i no longer need a carputer to play dvds.

My current carputer project Super Computer would replace my desktop. I really dont need to have my carputer running faster than my desktop. And it will be too cool looking to be hidden away in the trunk.

I wanna know what you guys think. I've been in the carputer game for a long time and i'm slowly losing motivation when i comes with building my next project.

How much do you guys think my old carputer (i hate calling it old) is worth.

I've got a Nomad Zen and was using it in the car - it was great, but I wanted a more permanent solution. So the carputer was my next step - seems you are working in the opposite direction as me!

    What about navigation?
