Thread: my new setup

just finished my car mp3 setup today thort i would share...

wanted to find a use for my g3 wallstreet powerbook with a cracked screen, was too expensive to repair, and after building a PC/keypad/lcd system a few years ago for my old car i thought i might chuck this in the car...

anyway its just a basic macosx/itunes setup and the mac just sits under the drivers seat strapped in, the air conditioning intakes are right near it so if it gets hot it will have airflow, its been running very cool so far tho...

interesting part is i got a new ericsson t610 mobile the other day and bought a bluetooth adaptor to use on my main machine,

i found some remote control software and now the bluetooth card is in the powerbook in my car and completely controlled from my mobile fone

sends the status of the tracks etc times ou can search shows eveyrthing

so yeah if anyone wants to know anymore about it let me kno
