Question boot problem with epia m

hi i just got my new Epia M motherboard in yesterday and i went to test it out in my c137 case with 90w power supply and i couldn't get it to boot past the loading windows screen. I was using an old 10 gig drive with windows 2000 on it and a stick of 256 mb of ram. I have the drive set to master. I wanted to test it out in my house before i moved it out to the car. I switched out drive cables, another hd with xp on it, RAM, even another power supply. But each time i got the same results. It just hangs at the black screen that says loading windows. I tested the drive out on my other computer and i got it to load fine. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas as to what the heck am i doing wrong. i want to get this thing working before i order the rest of the parts for the computer.

Just curios, did you install the operating system from scratch or was it already on the hard drive when you placed it with the Epia? If it was already on the hard drive you may have to do a clean install.

Most likely you need to do a new install. Windows does a hardware check during the install and there is probably a conflict between the mb/cpu for the current installation and your new EPIA.

thanks that fixed it. i wiped the drive and re installed the os and that fixed it. It loaded right up. I just took it out to my car to test it and it worked perfectly. i really like the new media engine. thanks again for the help.
