    Computer DVD Power

Im getting a gateway PII 350 mhz computer which is suppose to be small and was wondering if this is enough power for DVD's and Divx's? (got it for $40 w/ monitor )

And do video cards affect the video playing much?

well divx.com says 450mhz for divx

    power dvd says 350mhz

I really dont have many divxs though.........

    mp3car recommends 500.
One jolly-good thing to do is to test the very computer with a suitable divx movie.

You could spend some more money on a video card that supports full hardware MPEG-2 decoding. I don't know exactly what qualifies a video card as DVD-capable.... besides looking at the box/info to see if it says DVD-capable.
