    How to use SPDIF 5.1 on Epia C800

    Hello

    I am thinking of using the SPDIF connector for sound in the car into some AMP. What sort of amp's are good/cheap they don't have to be state-of-the-art, but just good amp's. Also, how do you use the SPDIF on the epia ? will it turn up as the same sound card as the regular jack, or do i have to have some extra software for it to work in like winamp ?

    I think you need to feed the signal from the SPDIF into a DSP (digital signal processor) or a decoder of some sort that will split it into the different channels.

    You may find an AMP that does 5.1 with an optical input though, not to up on highend Audio stuff ATM
    4x4 in a turbo stylee.
