DVD wont work on EPIA Nemiah M10000

Hi,

When I put a dvd disk into my DVD drive for the Nemiah M10000, I get a message that it can not decode it . I Tried all the drivers which came with the MB but no luck....

Can some one let em know which driver do I nee to run on WIN2K?

That's the DVD-ROM you still need a software DVD player like PowerDVD or WinDVD.

Like cproaudio said you need the Software the decodes the movie...

Power DVD is a good one...

Windows Media Player will not decode it for you...

Windows media player can play DVDs but doesn't come with the necesary region coding software. This is part of any of the software DVD players, did you not get one with your drive?

He probably bought the drive barebones off Ebay, like I did.

Luckily I had a copy or three, from various hardware upgrades (video cards, and cd writers)

So look in some of your install disks for other hardware and see if you have WinDVD.

Yes I did pick it off ebay as a barebone will look for win dvd... any ideas where I can download it from if not on my cds????? also my laptop does not have windvd but plays dvds....... any ideas
