    Help finalizing my Sharp 6"

    O.K. guys now that i got my sharp 6 in screen from eio i need a little help. I have isolated the 7 wires from the connector kit that Jason outlined on his web site. Now that i have done that, I am gonna list a couple of my questions so that maybe someone can help me. This message board rocks and thanks in advance for all the feedback and help.

    Q 1: I purchased the Digikey CCFl dual output inverter for the backlight. The inverter has 5 pins on the back of the circut. They are labled 1,2,3,4,5...5 is labled GND and pins 3 and 4 are right next to each other. I suspect that pins 3 and 4 are the two outputs for the backlights. If this is the case then i have three of the pins isolated (ground, output 1 and output 2) now my question is which one of the other 2 pins should i use for the input?? Pin 1 or 2?

    Q 2: Looking at the back of the sharp screen with the words "made in japan" on the bottom and "SHARP" on the top, i am trying to figure out what the four horizontal pins should be connected to. I suspect they are for the backlights but i am not sure what goes where. If someone could please list what each of the four pins is for, starting with the bottom pin up, it would be a great help.

    Q 3: The -8 volt regulator i purchased from digikey has three pins. I think one is input, one is output, and one is ground. I think that the middle one is groung so does it matter which of the outter pins i make input and which one i make output??

    Q 4: i bought an rca input jack from radio shack. There is a connector to the inside of the jack and a connector to the outside of the jack. Which wires from eio's connector kit should i connect to the respective connectors on the rca input jack?

    Thats it for now. Thanks again guys, i am very anxious to get this toy up and working this weekend.

    hey aladin use your imagination , itīsnīt difficult to build it , go with any techician and tell him that you need that kind of volts +12v -5v etc.. and then connect them to the pin out of the lcd screen, you will need a cable , that looks like an ide cable and connect it between the screen output and the invertor , connect that cable that eio sells in to a plataform and then the plataform to the invertor , the pinouts you need connect to the invertor are founden in eio page , ok maybe this could help you or give you an idea what to do
    Bye =)
