I'm using a PII 366 laptop with 196 MB RAM. It does the trick for me and has a lousy soundcard, but still is acceptable
I have access to a pentium 350 mhz for a car puter. Not the fastest out there, but its cheap and would be something to start off with. Would this be decent for a ghetto mp3 keg?

It should be more than adequate for mp3's. I have an old P120 laptop that plays them fine under Win95.
I have a PII 350mhz in my bedroom which is networked to my main 3 office computers. It plays MP3's fine over the network, and can handle most video with just an old TNT ultra card. You should have no problems with MP3. Just don't load alot of programs at once and you'll be fine.
yes, a P350 would be just right. I have a PII 350 w/ 256mb WinXP, 80GB, a 16mb vid card, and it runs WinXP, officexp, photoshop etc perfect. It also plays DVDs fineOriginally Posted by e_fractal

Winamp, movingmap, netstumbler, all work at the same time.
