Where do you get your MP3's?!?

I used to get them off Kazaa but now I'm tired off getting that annoying sound that most of the good songs are doing... Where do you guys get yours???

I borrow albums from my friends. One of them does DJing at parties so he has a PILE of CDs.

i don't get my cd's from a major world HQ. I said I don't so don't sue me.

After I don't get them from there I usually buy the cd's i'm really into and can listen to most of the album

I used to use Direct Connect for hard to find CDs. But now I just rip my own CD.

I rip my own CDs. Why? I can't stand the 128kbps rips. I normally rip them at 256.

Soulseek.

Soulseek is a p2p network with an incredibly vast collection of music.

We can share any type of file on Soulseek, but most people just share mp3's.

Soulseek is where to go to get hard to find and obscure music. Don't go there expecting to find 2000 people sharing Britney Spears, but you will find people sharing tons of stuff you've never heard of.

Without p2p I never would have found some of my favorite bands, and I buy their albums. I think the system works. DOWN WITH THE RIAA!!!

Maybe they are just trying to not call undue attention to the mp3car community, like from the RIAA.
