smallest XP install?

Ok, I found this deal for 1gb cf flash for $175 (http://www.ableshoppers.com/#13120831) and I was wondering what is the smallest installation of XP possible. Since I have a DVD-R/RW I could easily use a tiny tiny system (wafer?) that booted off cf flash and used a dvd drive for my mp3s etc... Would XP embedded install in only a couple hundred meg?

Ix you go XPe, you can get it to about 25-50MB. The only things is XPe edition you can get from MS can only last 45 or so days. The non expire version will run you 1000 bucks

Another thing is CF cards are slow. Keep that in mind.
