newbi 1st question - mini PC

Hi~ I am new to this forum.

I really like everyone did to their car. So nice. Awsome job!

I am planning to do the same thing as some people, one 7" touch screen and a mini pc in the glove box.

I know where to get the 7" touch screen, but I don't know where to get the mini pc.

Can anyone tell me where to buy the mini pc? or where to buy all the components to build a mini pc?

Maybe I can buy a mini pc from someone in this forum.

    thanks

There are a lot of vendors that you can buy small PC's from. It depends on what you want. Shuttle XPC's are very popular (www.shuttle.com) but are still larger than the Via EPIA based systems (mini-ITX). Check out www.mini-itx.com. They have a whole mess of tiny PC's listed there to check out. Also they have an online store where you can purchase everything you would need for a mini-ITX system. They aren't the cheapest, but they have just about everything.

    Good luck!
    So far:
    M10000 Nehemiah, 1Gb RAM, Opus 90w PS, Buffalo Tech WLI2-USB2-G54, 160 Gb HDD, GlobalSat BU-353 GPS, iGuidance, Zippy EL-610, Panasonic CW8123B Slim Slot CDRW/DVD, 10" Lilliput, Sony XA-300, Sony CDX-MP30 Head, OBD-II

noone can tell you what you should buy except you.

My Mini-ITX system consists of an Epia M10000 motherboard, 512 megs of ram, a hard drive, and a 150watt Opus power supply. Seems to be a pretty popular combo, with some people adding a slot-loading DVD player.
MP3 MR2 (click here for details)
    Hardware: EPIA M10000, 512Meg Ram, 5.6"TFT, Opus 150watt DC-DC PSU
Software: Windows 2000, Media Engine 2.0
