Thanks, this is excelent.
I guess I better go get that Pioneer Head now :0)
To make my p2000 Aux input work with CD Changer passthrough, I just opened the case on my HU and soldered the leads of my RCA's directly to the circuit board where the IP-Bus port is connected. I have a pin out of how it is connected at http://pioneer.ufdah.com I didn't use any external circuitry and it has been working fine for 6 months now.
Most of you probably know this already but you can also rename the Aux inputs of the HU if you have CD Titling.

No problem, glad I could help.
Feel free to ask if you have a question on how it's done.

do you have any pictures of how it's done? i'm assuming that the bottom portion of the picture you posted is what you see in back of your deck (i haven't pulled my deck out yet to confirm)
also, did you solder directly to the pins in the back? this seems kind of "permanent" for me. I bought a 3 year warrenty that i am DEFINITLY going to use.. =).
I actually soldered to the circuit board of the Head Unit so that I could still plug in the M-CD Player (although I never will). Another option would be to find an IP-Bus Cable and splice into it. That would probably be the best but the problem is finding a cable for a good price. You could also solder to the pins but that didn't look like a good option to me. Let me know what you do, I'm interrested.

If anyone is interested I have some P-bus cables I will sell. E-mail me at JasMar@wans.net
Instead of soldering anything directly to the board or the pins you can take the small connectors that are used for different things inside computers. You can use the single ones and glue them together after arranging them on the pins or get one with four holes and cut off the last one for the top row then a single for the one pin under the top three and glue them together to make a nice little connector that the rca jacks can be soldered to for a clean connection. Any questions email me spikked27@yahoo.com
Hi Guys,
I have tried this connection you've discussed here based on this site I've seen some days ago (http://www.gutterslide.com/ip-bus_hack).
The problem I found was that after all, the head was not able to switch to CD input pressing power button, as usual.
It acts as I haven't any charger in IP-Bus.
Could anybody help me how to force the head to recognize that I have an input signal there? My head is a KEH-P1010 pioneer.
Thanks in advance and sorry for my english.
