    Where to get com2 serial adapter for m1000?

    Anyone know? Looking to use more then 1 serial device, thus I need the add on serial port which doesn't come with the m1000.

    Mine came from an old AT tower I had lying around, so most any computer shop would be a good place to look for one. Lots of old motherboards were like that.

    Google may not help too much, but try Froogle. It gives you items and prices and can be sorted.

    Any mom and pop computer shop will have a box full. Maybe a $1, $1.50 at the most.

    good luck gettin it to work.. mine didn't on my m9000, but i almost suspect that my psu isn't powerful enough at the moment

    This correct to a degree. Some of the older ones used a diferent pin setup. I had a bad one before getting one that worked.

    i see... i have no clue where i got my serial cable so that might be the problem, but i can't even power a notebook usb drive via the bus at the moment.

    I would try another serial adaptor before giving up on it.

    just ordered an opus... we'll see if that fixes things as well
